A formal conversation: This is a type of conversation you will have with:

2. business situations
3. someone you have never met
4. someone in authority

An informal conversation: This is a type of conversation you will have:

1. In everyday conversations with:
1.  friends
2.  family 
3.  people you are familiar with.
